The AI Social is a trading name of Walker Ventures Ltd. Walker Ventures Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

3. What personal information we collect
- Full name, email address and town or city.
- Your chosen path (Member, Ambassador or Local Chapter lead).
- Newsletter consent record: whether you opted in, the exact wording shown, the date and time, the page you signed up from, your browser user-agent and a salted hash of your IP address (used only to evidence consent, not to identify you).
- If you contact us by email, the content of your message.
4. Why we collect it and legal basis
- Managing your registration — legitimate interests: operating and administering the community you asked to join.
- Sending the newsletter — consent, given by ticking the separate opt-in box on the registration form.
- Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests: replying to messages you send us.
- Keeping consent records — legal obligation and legitimate interests, so we can demonstrate compliance with Isle of Man data-protection and unsolicited- communications legislation.
5. Newsletter consent
We only add you to the newsletter list when you tick the separate newsletter opt-in box on the registration form. We use a double opt-in process: after you sign up we send a confirmation email, and you are only added to the list once you click the confirmation link.
Registering for the community does not add you to the newsletter — the two are separate.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter, or by emailing privacy@theaisocial.org.
6. Service providers
We use the following service providers to help us run the site and communicate with you. Each processes personal information only on our instructions.
- Website, forms and database hosting: Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase).

7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the Isle of Man, including in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and United States. 8. How long we keep your information
We keep registration information for as long as you remain part of the community, and consent records for as long as we are required to evidence them under applicable law. [SPECIFIC RETENTION PERIODS TBC].
If you unsubscribe from the newsletter we retain a minimal record (your email address and the fact that you unsubscribed) so that we do not contact you again.
9. Your data protection rights
Under Isle of Man data-protection law you have the right to:

- Ask us to delete your information.
- Ask us to restrict how we use your information.
- Ask us to transfer your information (data portability).
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time (for the newsletter).

10. How to unsubscribe or withdraw consent
Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@theaisocial.org at any time to withdraw consent or ask us to stop contacting you.
